Getting started
All the media services on this site (Jellyfin, AudioBookshelf, Seerr) require Tailscale to be running on your device. Tailscale creates a private, secure connection to the home server without exposing anything to the public internet.
Installing Tailscale
- Download Tailscale for your device at tailscale.com/download
- Sign in with your Google account when prompted
- Once connected, the app links will work
Tailscale runs quietly in the background. You only need to install it once. It reconnects automatically when your device wakes up.
What each app does
- Movies & TV (Jellyfin)
- Your personal Netflix. Stream movies and TV shows from the home server. Works on phones, tablets, smart TVs, and computers.
- Audiobooks (AudioBookshelf)
- Stream and download audiobooks. Download the AudioBookshelf app for offline listening.
- Request Movies & TV (Seerr)
- Can't find something in Jellyfin? Search for it on Seerr and request it. It'll be added automatically within a day or two.
- Request Books (Libreseerr)
- Same as Seerr, but for audiobooks and ebooks. Search and request — it gets added to AudioBookshelf automatically.
